The Basic Thoracoscopy Course is designed to provide participants with a strong and practical introduction to minimally invasive pediatric thoracic surgery. Built around a hands-on learning experience, the course combines theoretical foundations with simulation-based training under the guidance of an experienced international faculty.
Throughout the course, participants will develop essential thoracoscopic skills including camera navigation, ergonomic positioning, port access techniques, intracorporeal suturing, sliding knot applications, apexectomy, and diaphragmatic plication principles. Each training station is structured to maximize direct practice and improve procedural confidence in a controlled educational environment.
The programme includes virtual simulation sessions, dry-lab exercises using silicone models, and wet-lab experience, allowing participants to progressively strengthen both technical precision and operative coordination. With limited capacity and small-group interaction, attendees benefit from close mentorship and personalized guidance throughout the training.
Whether you are beginning your journey in pediatric thoracoscopic surgery or aiming to strengthen your minimally invasive surgical foundation, this course offers a focused educational experience designed to translate directly into daily surgical practice.
Limited spots available.
Join the Basic Thoracoscopy Course and become part of an international hands-on learning experience with leading experts in pediatric minimally invasive surgery.
