Advanced Thoracoscopy Course Faculty

Advance Your Expertise in Pediatric Thoracoscopic Surgery

The Advanced Thoracoscopy Course is designed for surgeons who want to deepen their experience in complex pediatric thoracoscopic procedures through an intensive, high-level hands-on training programme. Focused on advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, the course combines expert-led theoretical sessions with realistic practical training to strengthen operative precision, decision-making, and technical confidence.

Throughout the course, participants will work on advanced thoracoscopic procedures including dissection and suturing techniques, esophageal atresia (EA) repair, tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) repair, congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) repair, and thoracoscopic lobectomy. Guided by an internationally recognized faculty, attendees will gain direct exposure to advanced surgical strategies and operative workflows used in pediatric minimally invasive thoracic surgery.

The programme includes dry-lab simulation sessions using silicone models, wet-lab training, and live-animal surgical practice opportunities designed to recreate realistic operative environments. These structured hands-on stations aim to improve dexterity, tissue handling, intracorporeal suturing skills, and advanced thoracoscopic coordination in challenging surgical scenarios.

With limited participant capacity and close faculty interaction, the Advanced Thoracoscopy Course offers a highly focused educational environment where participants can refine their minimally invasive surgical skills while learning directly from world-renowned experts in the field.

Designed for surgeons seeking to move beyond the fundamentals and elevate their thoracoscopic expertise, this course delivers an immersive training experience that bridges advanced surgical education with real-world clinical practice.

Limited spots available.
Join the Advanced Thoracoscopy Course and become part of an international hands-on learning experience dedicated to the future of pediatric minimally invasive surgery.
